A Natural Acne Diet that Worked (Success Story)

Clear skin was always my dream and I thought it would be a dream forever. But a time did come when my dream came true. Read on to find out how.

A breakout

When coming to my acne story, it was when I was in my 11th standard that I started breaking out for the first time in my life. I thought it was just a simple thing and didn’t care much. I did nothing to stop my breakouts then.

After some weeks breakouts turned severe. I visited a dermatologist. He said it was hormonal imbalance that was breaking me out. He prescribed me some medicines and lotions. I used them, they worked. Sadly only for some time.

I started breaking out again. Now it was more severe. I used hundreds of facewashes, almost every brand. Nothing helped.

A Breakthrough

This story continued for 5 years, until last November.

I got fed up and lost hope of anything ever clearing me up. I had the lowest self esteem. I never even dared to look into someone’s eyes directly. I hardly went outside.

But a miracle should happen sometime. And it came in the form of my brother, who is a medico himself. He turned around my life. I must share with you how that happened. He prescribed me a 28 day plan that changed my life, literally.

The Plan

Plan – Battle Acne 🙂

You are the warrior now and start fighting acne in a natural way. Stop using everything now and follow this. It would work for anyone. I’m damn sure.

Here you go.

Wake up, boil a glass of drinking water, let it become warm not too hot. Squeeze half of a lemon’s juice in that warm water. Add some honey and drink it. This will remove almost all the toxins from your liver and freshen you up for the coming day.

Start your morning routine.

Use only cleanser to watch your face. You can use almost anything for the body but use only cleanser for face. This cleanser can be anything which doesn’t break you out.

I normally use Ahaglow face wash , which is mild and non-comedegenic and non-drying. Follow this up with an oil-free moisturizer like Neutrogena Oil-free Moisturizer, the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. Toner is optional and I never used one. But if you need it you can use it.

At last use a good non-comedogenic sunscreen. A sunscreen is very important in your skin care. End your morning skin care with this.

The Plan – Step by Step

Breakfast:
Brown bread – 6 pieces.
Sprouts – 250gm every morning
One glass of orange juice without sugar every morning.
Big no no to milk or tea or coffee.
500 ml of water.
Almonds – soaked or raw 8 pieces per a day.
Drink Safi- 2 teaspoons.

Lunch :
Rice or chapati with dal or vegetables, or vegetable khichdi. Eat as much as you can in afternoon because it has to keep you going for the rest of the day.
+ 2 boiled eggs and a banana.
1 litre of water, after eating.

Evening :
2 carrots every evening.
2 english cucumbers.
A hand full of walnuts (broken ), an apple.
Big no no milk or tea or coffee. Instead, drink glass full of coconut water.
500 ml water

night :
A cup of non veg or veg – with chapati or rice and yogurt (probiotics) to aid digestion.
Walk for 10min after having dinner.
1 litre of water.
A glass full of grape juice.

Before sleeping wash your face with a cleanser. If you wear makeup remove it and double cleanse your face. Exfoliate your face everyday with mildest scrub like The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Scrub and moisturize. If you have the habit of using a serum, do that.

Sleep well for 8 hours.

Tips

Note that acne is caused from inside your body not outside so don’t waste money for stupid products that claim that will work they will never work. Never waste thousands of your money on stupid chemicals or tablets they will do nothing than harming you.

Don’t use more than a cleanser (must), a moisturizer (must), toner (optional) and sunscreen (must). Remember less is more in skin care. Be natural, fight acne.

Do this routine everyday for 28 days. You will notice some change by the end of the first week and by the end of 28th day I’m sure your face will be clear as marble.

In case of acne scarring, make a paste of egg white and lemon juice and apply it like a mask for 20 minutes and wash off. Do this every alternate day. Boom Boom marks gone!!
