My regimen is not working

0

Hi all,

I have had acne from my teens till I was 28 and what stopped it was saslic ds and acnacare tablets. I researched acnacare and I figured that zinc was what was helping me out.
Three years down the line I stumbled across this website and in order to get a bit fairer I tried glomed with sebamed clear face wash along with sebamed clear face gel. Also started taking Now vitamin A and zinc gluconate and d3 (I’m officially deficient in d3). My face was completely clear in two weeks time but then the scary acne started coming back , all on my forehead , nose and now finally cheeks.
Something is wrong. I’ve stopped vitamin A from two weeks now and stopped all gluten products just in case but the acne don’t seem to die down. Also the summer sun is literally burning us in blore.
So I’m planning to bring back saslic ds. Can I use glomed and saslic in the morning and glomed and sebamed in the night?
Do any of you think I’m doing something wrong here?

Hi PD, what is your exact skincare routine? I mean what face wash / moisturizer etc. are you using currently? Are you using only Glomed + Sebamed Cleansing Foam + Sebamed Clear Face Gel? Anything else apart from this? If you are a boy, what are you using for shaving?

You do not need to use two cleansers in the morning and two at night. This could dry out the skin quite a bit.

PD, if you are officially deficient in vitamin D, 1000 IU per day ain’t going to cut it. You need around 10,000 IU per day for months in order to recover from a deficiency. Did you get a blood test to find the deficiency?

Yes it was 12.5 six months ago, haven’t checked after that.
