Hi Satvik,

Saslic has Salicylic acid which is quite effective for acne and hence usually prescribed by Dermatologists.

Keep reading reviews in AM. Take care.

yes saslic is a salicylic acid based cleanser..It is available in 1% and 2% concentrations..If you plan on using it then 1% is good start..It is a mild cleanser, cannot remove sunscreen and all..
Another option is sebamed cleansing foam which is also mild cleanser and definitely helps with acne..

Hi Teju,

Can 2% salicylic acid based cleanser can remove sunscreen?

Hi Suresh..Which cleanser are you talking about?
Normally cleansers with foaming agents like SLS cleanse well..
Saslic does not have that..

Hi Teju,

I was referring to Neutrogena oil free Acne wash which has 2% salicylic acid………..

Hi Suresh,Neutrogena oil free acne wash is SLS free..There are no foaming agents as such..But nonetheless works like saslic and good face wash for acne..I am not sure if it is sufficient to cleanse thoroughly..
For proper cleansing go for kaya cleanser or neutrogena pure mild cleanser..

Hi guys, I’ve used Neutrogena Deep Clean. It is anything but. Some others are of the same view as well. Liquid Neutrogena Pure Mild Cleanser, opposite to its name, cleans better.

Hi DD (@dennisdips), you could use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. A reviewer mentioned on its review page that it cleans well.

Thanks AM..but in the above post Tejupriya mentioned it is as mild as Saslic and both doesnt clean sunscreen as SLS is missing in both.

@dennisdips the olfein sulfonate in Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash is a cousin of SLS and is able to dissolve oil and silicones well. Also, cocamidopropyl betaine and olefin sulfonate are both foaming agents. So please don’t worry about what the previous poster said. I’ve replied to your other thread with details about what you might use instead.
