Anyone tried this new tinted sunscreen gel from Ethicare Remedies? Ethicare has more or less nailed the gel based non-comedogenic products thing, and this product is new.
Gel based sunscreens are hard to find. It even claims to give a matte finish.
These are the claims:
With very High SPF 50 (UVB) & UVA ***Protection & critical wavelength 379
Entire UVB, UVA || & UVA | Protection through its uniqe formula
Double water proofing actives
Non sticky, oil free, non comedogenic, fragrance free, hypo allergenic gel.
UV protection with all three actions(Scattering, Reflecting & absorbing)
Went thru’ their website just now. I have gone thru’ its ingrdients with skingredient and is non-comedogenic and moreover its tinted and gives matte finish. Looks to me an awesome product, just apt product to replace Lotus 3-in-1. Shall try and let you know.
That sounds great Suresh. So you are volunteer #2. @silpa-abhilash from this thread about alternatives to Lotus 3-in-1 is also going to try this.
You asked for feedback, I will be sending a complete and exhaustive product review itself in a day or two. I am using UV Med since 3 days and found to be ok.
That sounds great Suresh. That’s very nice of you. 🙂
wow thanks Suresh 🙂
You guys sure this is non-comedogenic? I was at a medical store today and spotted UVMed in the display. I asked the guy to show me the product and hastened to take a photo of the ingredients. The guy did not like it and so in a haste the photo was too blurry for skingredients app, but good enough for me to read, which I did just now.
Long story short. I typed out the ingredients in the skingredients box, and it throws Kokum Butter as comedogenic. And also Zinc Oxide and Cetearyl Alcohol as mild ones.
Are we talking about the same product here or did I happen to see something else? I can’t be sure because I don’t remember the exact name on the box. It was in a white/yellow box though like the photo in the question above.
Dada i am disappointed 🙁
But good that you give heads up.. Keeping my fingers crossed on @sureshbabu ‘s review 🙂
Hi Ashu & Preetam,
Picture abhi baki hai…infact….. picture abhi shuru hi nahi hua hai…
Wait for my review and let us not be judgemental without testing thoroughly.
ha ha ha ..suresh.. open up the curtains soon man.. cant wait any longer 😛
Sure. I was just wondering aloud.. If we are talking about the same product, perhaps you can add this twist in the story 🙂 Else folks, forget what all I said. Wish I had a memory eraser like they had in MiB.
Yes you have seen the right product and we are indeed talking about the same product. But ????
It may prove you wrong.. hope so…I am keeping my fingers crossed.
@suresh, eagerly waiting for ur review on uvmed. Jus cantt wait to order
Give this a miss. It’s a dud. Instead try Palsons Sunmate SPF30 I am hearing good reviews about it. But be careful it has a mild comedogenic ingredient – Butylene glycol. Some of our friends in AM have already started using it and in few days time would give us the feedback.
O what a let down. Thanks Suresh for the headsup . Are you by anychance doing a detailed review on uvmed?
