Has anybody using Sunprotek gel sunscreen. I know @suresh, @rajeev and @sri are using. Other
@sri – Are you using sunprotek ?
I am not using sunprotek. I had told that one of my friend is using it. I tried in B’lore and it is nowhere available. 🙂
@ashu6074, iam using suncote at present. Will get sunprotek once iam done with suncote.
iam using suncros ..and it is a very good sunscreen.i like it better than suncote …
Guys plz suggest: does suncote or suncros or for that matter any other sunscreen has moisturising benifit too (for winters)
Suncros is comedogenic. Better option is suncote. Go thru’ the link below for more details –
hi All, i had ordered Sunprotek spf30. But wht i have got is a lotion and not gel. seems its different. On their website they have mentioned this lotion sunscreen as well…. so it would be grt of anyone can throw some light on the difference between the gel and lotion form. Can i use the lotion one. Hope it will not break me out(scared scared scared)
Hiya Neha, even the lotion formula is claimed as non-comedogenic, but it isn’t possible to tell if it really is, since the website doesn’t have the ingredient list for it. For the gels, full ingredient list is given on the website, but not for the lotion. If you would email me a photo of the ingredient list mentioned on the lotion, we could figure it out ourselves using Skingredients.
Its a veryyyy long list AM, but as soon as i get sometime will email you. thx 🙂
Do you think this lotion formula will be more hydrating g as well (like a moisturiser)
Neha, you take a photo of the long list and email me. That way you won’t have to type it in. I’ll upload the photo in this thread. I do think this will be hydrating although Rajeev had mentioned that their gel formula contains some kind of peptides that are very hydrating too.
Hi guys, it’s been really nice of @nehas to send me the photo of Sunprotek Lotion ingredients. It looks to have some mildly comedogenic ingredients like glyceryl stearate, cetyl alcohol and silicones, but all in all, it looks like it could work for APST 2. Maybe not APST 3, but APST 2. Neha, have you used it yet?
@nehas, I know you’ve been looking for a moisturizing option, and this one is soothing but I can’t find any majorly moisturizing ingredients in it. Looks like they skipped the lipids etc. of the gel version in this lotion formula. There’s no glycerin even. Still, trying out will tell more. 🙂 I’d feel comfortable to go ahead and try a bit of it on the side of the face a whole day. You might do that if you like.
oh Thanks AM. I have been waiting for your feedback on this,haven’t used it yet bcoz didnt want to take any chance with my skin. Already taken chance with Elovera IMF cream and found a pimple(not 100% sure though that pimple occurred bcoz of Elovera IMF)
i think now i will skip it and will try the gel form.
