What do you think of Fab India products? Are any of Fab India skin care products good for oily / combination / acne prone skin? What about Fab India De-Pigmentation Cream?

Can you do a review of all FabIndia skin products ? They seem to be missing from your recommended list of products ?

Fab India does not list all its ingredients on the packaging, so it is difficult to tell if their products are non-comedogenic.

The problem with Fab India products is that they often contain all the right ingredients, but invariably also ingredients that are suicidal for acne prone skin. That is why you find so many people breaking out from their products.

Fab India Aloe Vera Soothing Gel – only aloe vera and water are mentioned, so it looks like a good catch for oily / acne prone skin.

Fab India Vitamin E Skin Hydrating Cream for Oily Skin – even though the pack says to use it on hands and feet, it seems to work fine for the face too. Has jojoba oil, lactic acid, aloe vera, vitamin E  – all ingredients good for acne prone skin. The base of the cream is comedogenic, so if you break out easily, do a patch test first.

Fab India Green Tea Moisturizing Lotion – not suitable for acne prone skin because of its comedogenic base and sesame oil

Fab India De-Pigmentation Cream – excellent skin lightening ingredients arbutin and kojic acid but unfortunately in a highly comedogenic base. Highly likely to cause breakouts on acne prone skin.

Rose Water Facial Spray – good for minimally moisturizing oily / combination skin, a hit or miss for acne prone skin. A good rose water product though.

Fab India Papaya Pack – despite helpful ingredients such as papaya and kaolin, this face pack has been shown to cause breakouts, likely because of its liquid paraffin content.

Fab India Haldi Chandan Mud Pack – might be okay for oily skin that does not break out easily. Acne prone skin will suffer because of its  Isopropyl Palmitate and almond oil content.

Fab India Aloe Vera Cucumber Gel Pack looks like a safe bet for oily / combination / acne prone skin.

Fab India Neem Tulsi Face Pack – just like their neem tulsi pack, this face pack might be okay for oily skin that does not break out easily. Acne prone skin will suffer because of its  Isopropyl Palmitate and almond oil content.

Fab India Tea Tree Toner – it does nothing special, perhaps active ingredients are too diluted to be of any use to acne prone skin.

Fab India Neem Tulsi Toner – helps with oil control, but do not expect it to zap acne away.

Fab India Almond Scrub – known to cause breakouts

Fab India Papaya Scrub – known to cause breakouts

FabIndia Neem Tulsi Face and Body Gel Scrub sounds fine with its aloe vera base and mainly neem and tulsi oils. The scrubbing granules are still walnut shell based, but this scrub is a safer bet than their rest.
