Hi Debaditya, you’ve come to the right place. Yes, acne is a very frustrating thing to deal with and 5 years is indeed a long time to have struggled with it. Many times, people can’t get out of acne-hell because of lack of information. Yes, all those Erytop, Nadoxin help, but it is also what you use alongside that can improve or kill the results.

The first thing would be to know what all products you are using currently on your face as well as body. All products, including any shaving cream, aftershave, sunscreen, body soap etc. Making changes in the skin care routine itself shows benefit in most cases.

Although, in your case, since the extent of acne is over the back as well, your doctor might decide to put you on isotretinoin, which is a very strong treatment but also comes with side-effects. Before you consider isotretinoin, let’s see if you can benefit from simply changing up the skin care.

I would also advise you to have patience. Seeing that you want a reply “as soon as possible”, tells me that you can’t wait to get rid of it and that’s reasonable, but the more you act in haste, without the background knowledge, the deeper you will find yourself in this problem. No matter how fast you receive replies, acne isn’t going away overnight, so you might as well relax and stay hopeful. 🙂

Also, spend some time reading up tons of information on this website, starting here. This is important because no matter which doctor you go to, some knowledge of the basics of acne prone skin will help you make the right choices.

Thiosol is used for acne and other infections and is effective, but it also depends on what other products you are using alongside. As you must have read in the link I mentioned earlier (you did go through it right?), some products contain pore-clogging ingredients that block skin’s pores and cause pimples. So even if you are taking the strongest medicine, depending on which face wash, moisturizer, shaving cream etc. you are using you will continue to get pimples unless you change to acne-safe products. This is the reason I had asked you in my previous reply to tell me *all* the products you are using – not a one liner telling me about Thiosol. Please go over my previous reply carefully and let me know if you read the link and also what exact products you are using now.

Ok.I am now using ‘Nadoxin’ cream every night on my face and ‘Acnoff’ soap 2-3 times in a whole day on my face & whole body at the bath time.I also use ‘Thiosol’ on my back.

Hi Debaditya, try switching to Glomed or AHAGlow face wash. Depending on how much better you feel after the switch, you could add more / stronger products. Let me know how it goes. Wash your back with the same face wash instead of Acnoff soap. Acnoff soap sounds good, but the amount of tea tree oil in it isn’t enough to stop acne. First bathe normally using any soap you like, but avoiding the face and back. Then wash the face and back with one of the face washes I mentioned. You can find them at medical stores.

Instead of Thiosol, use Sebonac Gel (again, medical stores) on the back. After a bath, apply a thin layer of it all over the back. People are getting good results with it for their back acne. For the face, it is sometimes too strong, but if you do okay with it for back acne, you might consider using it on the face as well. Some people are using it on the face without problems.
