Is neutrogena deep clean as good as the mild cleanser?..is it non-comedogenic as well?
Neutrogena deep clean is oil free and non-comedogenic and it is a good cleanser. On the bottle they have mentioned that it is for both normal and oil skin. But my personal feeling is that it is best suited for oil skin. Right now I am using Neutrogena oil free Acne wash which is also a good cleanser for oil acne prone skin. Hope this helps.
Hi Nimi..Neutrogena deep clean has two variations..
Facial cleanser is non comedogenic..
Foam cleanser is highly comedogenic..
Neutrogena Deep clean facial cleanser is good as pure mild cleanser..Only difference is Deep clean facial cleanser has 2% salicylic acid..
But if you use it with strong acne treatments can cause peeling/dryness or even irritate the skin so pure mild cleanser is a safer and neutral cleanser, cleanse without irritating..
Are there any benefits to a foam cleanser at all? If a brand offers a cleansing product in both gel or foaming form, what is the point of one over the other? Does foaming mean comedogenic ingredients are added?
Hi Rohini..Foam cleansers are mild cleansers and most of them are treatment cleansers which means the product stays on the skin for few minutes..
Foam Cleansers are normally sls/sles free, because the pump does the trick of foaming it up into nice lather..
And no it does not mean they have comedogenic ingredients..
Additional Benefit of mild cleansers like sebamed when used with strong acne treatments,it does not irritate the skin..
Oh, thanks for that. 🙂
