i think if u always at home not in sunlight then no need but if u go out like in street for time and there is possibility u will come under sun then use it …there is very good sunscreen for u which has other effect also but low in spf kaya spf 15 ,i read its non comedogenic and have lightning feature and its only spf 15 ..

If staying indoors continuously without exposure to sun for even a moment ( ❗ ) , then too you need to use sunscreen. Not as high in spf, but a spf of 15, 16, or 17 will also do. The reason is it is not the rays that affect us, it is UV A and B, which spread everywhere that damage our skin. So, as jassi said, Kaya spf 15 will be good for you! 🙂

(and you asked this in another question too, you would have got your answer over there! 😀 anyways, chillax and roam around! :D)

Thanks Akshay and jassie,
its highly impossible to stay indoors All the time!So although majority of my time is defenitely spent indoors,i do go out everyday. And yes,i wil incorporate the sunscreen options that you have given.(kaya spf15)

Great answers above. Normally, one could get away with skipping sunscreen indoors at the cost of minimal sun damage. But for acne prone skin, wearing sunscreen indoors becomes even more important if one has reddish / brownish acne marks. The sites of old pimples have more delicate skin from the damage from pimple infection, wounding and healing.

You might have noticed that when you come home from being in the sun, your acne marks look redder. Over the next few days they turn purplish or brownish as the sun damage starts to set in. All this just delays the disappearance of the marks by making them darker. Since UV radiation is everywhere, even indoors, theoretically, your marks are getting darker even from just sitting near a window.

Thanks AM,
Both Kaya and lotus herbals matte sound impressive due to their non sticky claim(i read your post on sunscreens). And kaya šeems to have more fans here!guess i wil go for kaya.

Kriya, wait up, don’t use Lotus Herbals Matte. You probably missed that part in the post that says that while it is okay for oily skin, it is not okay for acne prone skin. It is comedogenic. Kaya SPF 15 is a safe choice acne wise. Then there’s also Sebamed Sun Care which comes in varying SPF measures. Sunprotek, Zoray Aquagel are other options.
