Should sunscreen be applied around the eye area?

should sunscreen be applied around the eye area? Under eye? I found various different opinions on the internet

Hi Nimi, how have you been? 🙂 Yes, there are lots of theories about sunscreens around the eyes. I heard a big-name dermatologist once explain that one does not need apply sunscreen on the eyelids because the brow bone and eyebrows protect that area already. He also mentioned that incidence of skin cancer on the eyelids is pretty low because of this in-built protection. As for under the eyes, it should be okay to apply sunscreen there as long as it doesn’t irritate the eyes.

Hey AM m all good:) ..so under eye is fine? Because after using keracnyl cream i cn see my cheeks have become lighter in tone.. Spots are there… But the overall tone has improved.. So this in turn has made me realised i have not so prominent dark circles..

Yes Nimi, using sunscreen under the eyes is fine as far as I understand. It shouldn’t cause stinging or redness in the eyes though.
