Is Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 50 Anti Shine Emulsion Dry Touch suitable for oily and acne prone skin? Is it true to its mattifying claim? Is Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 50 Anti Shine Emulsion Dry Touch a non-comedogenic sunscreen?
None of the ingredients of Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 50 Emulsion Dry Touch stand out as strongly comedogenic, although it does have some mildly to moderately comedogenic ones.
The mattifying action of Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 50 Emulsion Dry Touch is pretty good. However its high alcohol content could dry the skin too much.
It also contains corn starch (zea mays) which is said to promote bacterial / fungal growth, so that’s a red flag for acne prone skin. It doesn’t cause problems for everyone, except for the highly acne prone.
Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 50 Emulsion Dry Touch is designed for oily skin. Skin that is prone to acne will have to take a leap of faith here.
