Hi Lima, check out @lalitha’s review of Paula’s Choice Skin Perfection 2% BHA. As for Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence, it does contain some interesting ingredients. I’ve used a snail secretion product in the past, called Elicina, but it was quite a long time ago (in 2000 I think) and I can’t recall the results I got it.

Bee sting as a collagen promoter sounds good, as well as the Human Ogliopeptide-1 in it. I checked to see if Human Ogliopeptide-1 or EGF is safe for use and it turns out it is perfectly safe. It can promote healing and new skin cell regeneration, which makes it promising for scar reduction.

Now I don’t know what % of bee sting and the peptide are in it (the snail mucin is 90% turns out), and I’ve personally never used this product, but if your acne is under control and you’re feeling adventurous, by all means go for it. I didn’t spot anything majorly comedogenic in it either. Do keep us posted. Better yet, upload pictures and keep a photo log of improvements if you like. That would be wonderful.

Yes, Korean skin care is quite advanced. Also because people are so aware and do their homework before buying and do their homework (of using the products) after buying them. I’ve lived in Seoul for a while.

My skin care routine is pretty rushed and careless actually. It’s gotten that way since I don’t get pimples that often anymore (hurray vitamin D!). I use Triacneal, Neutrogena Oil-free Combination, Sebamed Co Q10 eye cream, Bioderma SPOT sunscreen all strictly on when-I-can-remember basis. And Kaya Soothing Cleansing Gel. These are all the products that I have any use for right now. I don’t try out too many new ones actually. I was not always like this. I guess once the acne stops, the desire to look for newer and newer products also calms down. 🙂

Thanks am 😀 i am eyeing at the Sebamed Co Q10 eye cream ,

and woah , vitamin D cured your acne ? i was always wondering if Vitamin D deficientcy has caused me acne because when i was young i never ever used sunscreen and i was always outdoors and the best part ” i did not even have a spot on my face/no acne” but after i moved to Bangalore and started using sunscreen on a daily bases ,within a few months i started breaking out with products i never use to break out with and then it kept getting worst , i starting to think that i am getting acne as i don’t get enough vitamin D due to sunscreen .. o.o is this possible?
